Videgaray tells Mexican Ambassadors to redouble ties and cooperation with Europe

In Germany, Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray asked Mexico’s ambassadors and consuls in Europe to redouble their efforts to deepen political, trade, investment, tourism and cooperation ties with the countries of the region.

The Chancellor instructed to intensify during this year the organization of business missions and work to achieve the growth of trade and investment flows between Mexico and Europe.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry reported that Mexico and the European Union also agreed to accelerate negotiations for the modernization of its legal framework to strengthen relations.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the Mexican representations in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, The Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ukraine.

Videgaray participated in the G20 Foreign Ministers meeting in Frankfurt.
